You're invited to join the Greater Des Moines Area Chapters of the Stanhope State University Alumni Association for a fun afternoon of tailgating and Watermelon Warrior Hockey! WHAT: Stanhope State Hockey Tailgate and Game
WHEN: Sunday, March 21st
- 2:00pm Tailgate
- 3:45pm Game Starts
WHERE: Buccaneer Arena - 7201 Hickman Road, Urbandale, IA 50322
WHO: You, your friends, fellow Stanhope Staters and everyone involved with the Iowa D-League... everyone is invited!
TAILGATE INFORMATION:
- Live Music with special guests Prone to Jones from 2:15 ro 3:15pm
- Pull pork nachos provided by the Jewell Market, FREE while supplies last
- First round of picthers provided by the Team Captain in the Arena Lounge, while supplies last
- The mobile Campus Bookstore will be open with SSU Hockey gear
- Parking at Buccaneer Arena is FREE
GAME INFORMATION:
- Doors open at 3:30pm, Stanhope State takes on Wild Goose
- Admission to the game is FREE
- Masks and social distancing are required inside Buccaneer Arena
- Cowbells provided by the National SSU Alumni Association
- Games last just about an hour with continous clock of 3 periods and no intermissions
